Super Mario Bros.
Castlevania
Tetris

Tetris To be honest, when I first played this (circa age 7/8 ) I didn't like it at all. I found it dull, unattractive and well boring.

Eight years later my NES console was failing me, very few of the cartridges would work ,due to excessive game play and dust, and I reached for this old thing to test the console's health.

My, what a shocker. Puzzles, sweat, wit and cunning, I found I was able to constantly beat the computer on advanced. Tetris challenges the mind like no other. The joy I experienced playing this incredible game for hours and hours without end, is truly unparalleled.

No cutesy characters, nothing to try and rip you limb from limb and yet somehow Tetris conquers all.

Stimulates your mind. Rewarding. Fantastic game.

Totally Rad

Totally Rad NES game from back in the nineties. Jake, our hero and wizard in training, must save his girlfriend from the claws of evil. Blah blah blah
typical boy saves girl storyline - However..

..the clever aspect of this game is that ,Jake, a trainee wizard, has the ability to morph into various super hero characters, each with their own individual powers, costumes and healing abilities. This makes the game very interesting indeed. Not so much if you choose to stick with the arc angel hero and simply fly and dodge your way through each level (I guess child me figured 'if one hero works, why bother morphing ?' haha)

Entertaining game.

Little Nemo: The Dream Master

Little Nemo: The Dream Master Absolutely ADORABLE game. Nemo goes through a series of adventures in his sleep. Against killer trees, gorillas and toys - endless mazes and secret hidden passages, Nemo travels from level to level in search of several cunningly hidden keys. These unlock the gate keeper doors and allow progression on to the next stage of the game.

Cute yet challenging with cheeky theme tunes to keep you engaged. Endless hours of fun.

Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt

Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt I remember playing this game with my dad in the early 90's. There's a clay shoot game included.

A classic. Lots of fun.

Peggle

Peggle Cute puzzle game. To the first time player, it starts off as your average point and shoot 'pin-ball' type game, however Peggle is anything but! It is constantly stimulating, with each stage throwing in new obstacles forcing you to adapt your game play. I love it.
