The Daedalus Encounter My vote for this game is perhaps a bit biased because I strongly tie this game with my childhood. It came with the first mac the family bought. And I was speechless when suddenly there was a game with "real people" instead of crappy CG 2d sprites.

Halo 3 Sometimes, Game developers should stop beating a dead horse.

Multiplayer was mildly enjoyable though.

StarCraft The most strategic RTS game I've ever played. Actually the only RTS game I've played where good management & tactics mean more than the size of your army and your guns.
