julians Me and a friend played this for hours and hours when it came out. Being 9 years old and not speaking much English, we never made it to Mars, though. We then played this again just a couple of months ago. Playing it took us back to our childhood. We even made it to Mars, at which point it crashed. A bitter-sweet experience.

roserpens I was scared shitless of sectoids on those first missions. I deeply, deeply cared when my soldiers died, but the missions were so hard I bit it and didn't reload. They mattered.
