bigdougschmidt Yes please. L4D is an automatic classic filled with tense moments of climbing dark staircases waiting for the infected to pounce on you. Left 4 Dead 2 is even better, and a must have sequel in your gaming library.

intranation One of the only games I've played that elicited an actual emotional reaction from fellow online games whilst playing. Worth it for the engagement alone. Also, zombies.

jonty Only fun when played with other humans, the AI co-op players JUST WILL NOT DIE which removes all emotional attachment to them. That said, when played with friends it's incredibly good fun.

jwheare I think I much prefer cooperative games really. Good social fun, well considered mission design. Genuinely frightening AI.
